3 Notable Accomplishments I am most proud of

Led non-GAAP financial reporting for a private equity software company, transitioning to a SaaS business model. Developed measurements for key SaaS financial metrics, including a mix-adjusted P&L, and produced external financial reports to help the C-suite tell our success story. Implemented Cloud planning tool to support business growth and operations. Acquired and integrated two companies, changed the ownership structure, and refinanced after COVID-19. Valuation grew 3x in four years.

Business transformation and change management lead for the Workday Financials implementation at supply chain software company. Led the application security strategy, business process configuration, communication plan, and founded a cross-functional multi-application committee to manage changes post-implementation. The implementation resulted in better quality financial data and multi-dimensional reporting, business process workflow, proactive financial management and increased visibility, and a more efficient close process – reduced by three days.

Built the finance and operations function for a new Software and Services division at a high tech telecommunications company. Closely partnered with the President of the division to develop a 3-year strategic plan and annual budgets that aligned to it. Reviewed deals in conjunction with revenue accounting and legal, established templates for evaluating professional services deal profitability, and worked with the business and HR to structure an annual bonus plan that drove customer success and profitability. Drove year-over-year improvement in revenue (36%), gross margin (400%), and profit (18x) for the business unit.
